We note that, while you have included some of our suggestions in the Draft, we must point out that, in some respects, referred to in the course of our Submission, the Draft fails to comply with, have regard to or takes into account some of the provisions of:

The NSS;

Plans in adjoining counties;

South East Regional Planning Guidelines;

DoECLG Guidelines.

D56 Castlecomer

I wish to suggest the following few issues for consideration toward the County Development Plan in regard to the local Castlecomer area that are personal to me.

A). That walking access should be developed to allow persons to access the waterfall area, but not the fall itself, from the town. This could be accommodated easily given access via the edge of Castlecomer Golf Club – but not crossing any apart of the playing course. Suggestion attached. Access was available prior to recent developments converting course from 9 to 18 holes.
